The UK airline to provide no-cost high-speed in-flight internet by way of Starlink agreement
Flyers flying with British Airways can soon use high-speed connectivity in the air at no cost following a recent partnership with the billionaire's satellite company.
Complimentary and Quick Connectivity for All
British Airways stated that this no-cost, “quick and reliable” wifi service through the satellite provider becomes offered to travelers in economy, business, and first class starting the coming month.
Expanded Rollout Across Various Airlines
The holding organization for BA, IAG, announced it had secured an agreement involving SpaceX for providing connectivity coverage across over 500 aircraft across its airlines, including Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, plus Vueling.
Smooth Connectivity starting at Gate to Arrival
The airline noted that this rollout for this technology formed part of a multi-billion pound “modernization” program that will offer lag-free internet service for travelers from the gate through landing, even when in flight over large bodies of water and remote regions.

Existing Wifi Services
Restricted internet access is presently available to British Airways travelers across nearly all of their aircraft via its .air system.
