The Music Icon Portrays a Twisted Persona of Herself in Mockumentary First Look
The Grammy-winning artist is gearing up for a major big screen onslaught in 2026, kicking off with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.
Within the project, the artist plays what she calls as a twisted version of her own persona.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music industry that I’ve ever witnessed, the performer stated.
She further explained in a discussion: It’s not a tour documentary, however the inspiration came from the expectation to create one.
A Glimpse into The Moment
The debut trailer, unveiled on recently, combines authentic footage from her live performances with made-up backstage scenes.
The Moment is directed and co-written by her collaborator, who revealed that the story revolves around a scenario where the singer took completely different paths throughout the marketing of her hugely successful record Brat.

A Packed Film Calendar
The film is only one of numerous future film appearances for the star, who has starred in three festival films in the current year.

She also took on her own role in the Amazon series Overcompensating.
Future Ventures
The coming year will also include the star with Olivia Wilde in romantic thriller I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in gallery suspense The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in terror reimagining Faces of Death.
Additionally, she signed on to appear in Dakota Johnson’s directorial debut A Tree in Blue.
I am really enjoying my foray into acting, the performer stated. I’m incredibly motivated at the moment in this area, and I solely want to do roles that stimulate me.

Next February will also include the launch of Emerald Fennell’s version of Wuthering Heights, which will include original songs from Charli.
She will also provide music for the drama Mother Mary, featuring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, planned for launch in the coming year.
The film is set to premiere on 30 January.
